I spend time with my two children, husband & extended family. I also enjoy reading and participating in a local book club.
What are you passionate about?
Educating and empowering young women about their reproductive health so they can make educated decisions about sex and fertility. I believe it’s important for youth to understand what sexual behaviors put them at risk for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), as well as how these diseases increase their chances for cancer, infertility, etc.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
My mother had a very rare tracheal tumor and rare surgery when I was 14 years old.
Where were you born and raised?
On a farm near Cook, Nebraska.
