How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two young sons and a husband who are always on the go and we all enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, swimming, doing just about anything that we can do to get wet or dirty or cause us to have more laundry that needs to be done! I also enjoy photography, reading, cooking, and staying active.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping women of all ages take an active role in managing their health and making informed decisions. I feel very strongly about educating women and helping them understand what is most beneficial for where they are at in their lifespan. In doing this, together we can make decisions that empower them and help them achieve a great quality of life.
What inspired you to become a Nurse Practitioner?
I love the relationships that I develop with patients and the experiences I am fortunate enough to share with them. When I was a registered nurse working in the intensive care unit, I did not always have a lot of time with my patients. I often wondered where patients went and how or what they were doing when they left the hospital. As a nurse practitioner I get to see patients again and again and catch up with them and share life experiences and memories.
